We represented the Czech Republic at the European Championship in the ADVANCED category in Romania, at the Clinceni airfield located in the suburbs of Bucharest, and it was an incredible ride! Honza confirmed his good form and experience gained over the past season, during which he made his debut in national competitions in the UNLIMITED category. Before the stop in Romania, he had a great warm-up at the World Championship in Poland, where he performed as a warm-up pilot, and ultimately brought home a respectable 12th place from Romania.

The team competition was noticeably more dramatic, with battles continuing until the very end. And for the Czech team, it was a successful finish! The team consisting of Honza Jílek, Jára Čihák, Adam Ondrejka, and Miroslav Černý defended the third spot thanks to outstanding performances in the last two programs, edging out the Polish team, and completing the podium behind the home team and the French team.
