Regardless of the 3D program used, the end result in the form of a drawing must always be consistent – it has to consistently adhere to the relevant standards (ISO, ASME). However, the path to achieving this outcome, from the initial sketch through modeling, assembly creation, and finally exporting that drawing to a PDF format, can differ from program to program. It often diverges with each new version of the software as well. Nonetheless, we thrive on new challenges, always welcoming opportunities to expand our team’s knowledge and being adaptable to our customers‘ demands.
At the beginning of February, our team of designers took a part at a two-day intensive training on the new version of the NX system, NX2206, which our German partner was transitioning to. The training took place online and was led by instructor Rainer Schmitt from the German company d.u.h. Group Trainingsorganisation. Throughout this training, our designers familiarized themselves with the innovations and differences compared to the previous version, NX12.
