But it could have been different! We were just a hair’s breadth away from a season-ending disaster. Fortunately, we have great partners, including TMJ Aviation, who managed to accomplish the nearly impossible and got us new magnetos and the very last set of ignition cables in the world, which were in stock! We would like to thank them once again for saving our racing season!

But now, back to flying! Prior to the championship, we underwent an intensive camp led by our fantastic French coach, Loïc Lovicourt, at Strakonice Airport, and shortly before the competition in Jindřichův Hradec. We can confidently say that it was worth it!

In the Advanced category, Honza made an outstanding and dominant performance, leading from the first competition flight. He even surpassed our team coach, Jára, and claimed a well-deserved first place. Jára finished second, with a difference of less than 500 points.

In the Unlimited category, Martin Šonka reigned supreme, but Lukáš and Petr valiantly fought for the second place, which at the end went to Petr due to consistently strong performances in all three competition flights. Lukáš finished third, with a deficit of 800 points.

We firmly believe that besides the valuable medals, we will also take away valuable experiences. We are already looking forward to the next race of the season, the German National Championship, taking place from July 5th to 9th at Dinslaken Airport!
